Herbz 20 Report post Posted October 17, 2016 So I currently have 1 R9 390x as a GPU, I have enough money to buy a second, or do I sell the one I have, and save a bit more for a GTX 1070 or even 1080? Please no hate for AMD.
Dan 42 Report post Posted October 17, 2016 What are you looking to do with the upgrade? That's a very nice graphics card you got there.
Herbz 20 Report post Posted October 17, 2016 Recently bought a 3440x1440p ultra wide monitor and I want to push my frames higher. Max settings get around 50-55 and its a 75Hz refresh rate panel.

Herbz 20 Report post Posted October 17, 2016 I wonder what the Crossfire R9 390x results would be vs the 1070?
lukshan13 17 Report post Posted October 19, 2016 Yea, you should compare the performance of the dual 390x's and the 1070 and 1080. And, if the games you're playing used directx 12, im sure you can use two diffrent gpu's as well, but that's not recommended. Let me know what you do decide to go with tho
